English Español Westfalen Group continues digitization journey

The company’s fuel retail network has integrated the UTA EasyFuel app to offer a safe and fast payment experience for drivers when they refuel.

In addition to mobility apps fillibri, Westfalen easy.move and payvia, the Westfalen Group’s fuel retail network now also accept the UTA EasyFuel app, the digital version of the UTA fuel card. 

A total of around 2,000 petrol stations in Germany and Austria are currently connected to the EasyFuel network and acceptance is being continuously expanded. All UTA cardholders based in both countries can use the app. 

Users are able to pay via their UTA EasyFuel app through a cashless, contactless, secure and fast transaction via smartphone. 

"The integration of the UTA EasyFuel app into our system demonstrates our commitment to further improving and digitalizing the customer experience at our filling stations," says Alexander Gröne, Head of Internal Sales & Payment in the Mobility division of the Westfalen Group.

With this new addition to its services, the company is continuing on its digitization journey. Recently, the brand launched digital receipts, contributing to the decarbonization of its operations as well.

The Westfalen Group currently operates a fuel retail network consisting of 256 service stations and terminals.
