English Español Eni joins growth of unattended petrol stations in Spain

Atenoil is the third acquisition in Spain in recent months involving unattended service station networks.

Last update:

Italian energy giant Eni has acquired the Atenoil unmanned network from the British fund Marcol. With this transaction, the operator enters the low-cost market in Spain.

Eni has launched its bid through its subsidiary in Spain, Enilive Iberia, targeting three companies of the Atenoil group.

The network of 24 unattended service stations is located in the Madrid area and southern Spain. In addition to the sale of fuels, it also offers car washes and the sale of food and beverages.

Eni is also expanding its presence in Spain through Eni Iberia, which is divided into three business lines: lubricants, extra-network and network. The company sells oils throughout the Spanish and Portuguese market, as well as fuels and combustibles to wholesale customers in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
