English Español 7-Eleven launches new video game-inspired merchandise

In partnership with The Tetris Company, the retailer offers customers the chance to purchase products and attire to celebrate the iconic video game’s 40th anniversary.

7-Eleven, Inc. and The Tetris Company have teamed up to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the video game by launching special merchandise for a limited time.

Customers across the U.S. who purchase participating products via 7Rewards, Speedy Rewards or 7NOW Delivery can win one of 20,000 handheld gaming devices shaped like the brand’s Slurpee drink. The bespoke handheld device has been designed and manufactured by My Arcade to celebrate Tetris’ legacy.

The chain also unveiled co-branded attire, including retro t-shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, keychains and totes – all available on the retailer’s online merchandise store, 7Collection.

“We know our customers are passionate gaming enthusiasts who also appreciate a healthy dose of nostalgia – making this collaboration with Tetris a perfect fit,” said Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer at 7-Eleven.

Loyalty members who want even more chances to win can score 7 extra entries by purchasing items such as Slurpee drinks, Big Gulp and Big Bite hot dogs, as well as any variety of Red Bull.
